Here is how Real Obvious Alert works…
Page Viewer – Alert messages are displayed embedded in wiki pages to the viewer.
Page Editor – An Alert message is added to a page using standard MediaWiki Templates “{{Alert|…}}”
Wiki Admin – Real Obvious Alert is installed by updating common.css, uploading an image, and creating the Alert template.
